The more accurately a system is able to determine occupancy, natural light, temperature and humidity levels and energy consumption in any given area of a building, the greater the opportunity to identify energy waste. Autani offers a wide selection low cost wired and wireless sensors that can be easily placed exactly where they are most needed within a facility. Each wireless sensor also doubles as a network repeater for Autani’s ZigBee wireless mesh network.
- Occupancy Sensors – Autani’s line of occupancy sensors are available in a range of sensitivity levels and angles of view. Key features include;
- Wireless versions install in minutes and can be placed wherever they are needed.
- Each occupancy sensor features an extremely reliable 3-D sensing capability.
- Input from multiple sensors within an area are coordinated by the Central Energy Manager to increase accuracy of detection and eliminate frustrating “unwanted lights out” often associated with traditional motion detection systems.
- Light level sensors – wireless light level sensors are easily placed exactly where they can best detect ambient light levels, enable the Central Energy Manager to employ Daylighting algorithms to properly adjust the lights.
- Temperature and Humidity Sensors – Inside and outside humidity and temperature sensors are available to support the Autani Energy Efficiency Systems HVAC control capabilities.
- Door / Window Contacts – Rules can be selected in the Central Energy Manager to set-back the temperature in a specific area, such as a classroom, when a door or window is left open.
- Metering & Sub-Metering - Autani’s Central Energy Manager supports a range of metering options, to feed the systems Executive Dashboard, charting and reporting capabilities.
